Please send information about your interfaith events or send me your email address to be included in this email, which is sent blind copy. Partisan political events or those events that may be offensive to members of our religious communities will not be included. Interfaith Partners, is a non-partisan, grassroots network of faith communities and individuals dedicated to promoting the positive and healing role of religion in the life of our community and nation. IFP builds on the history of the Greater Detroit Interfaith Round Table and the many common values which our various religious traditions share.
Interfaith Partners' mission is to enable metro Detroit to navigate the challenging transitions of a diverse city building a community of mutual cooperation and friendship. American religious freedom and pluralism make a sacred and dynamic contribution to community formation, therefore IFP is dedicated to employ in practical and creative ways the highest values of unity and good will taught by our religious traditions.
Interfaith Partners is committed to inter-religious dialogue, education and cooperative service to our shared community aimed at eliminating discord and enabling us all to join together and live in harmony. Knowing full well that religious diversity can sometimes distress and confuse our community, IFP is committed to offering counsel, open hearts and direct assistance to move toward understanding and reconciliation.
*Interfaith Partners is a service, dialogue and education program of MRDI (The Michigan RoundTable for Diversity and Inclusino) with the Jewish Community Council, the Metropolitan Christian Council Detroit-Windsor and the Council of Islamic Organizations of Michigan serving as primary institutional stakeholders.
