LINC
(Leadership In the New Century) is a developmental program,
allowing students to build skills and awareness by participating
at various levels:
Introductory Level - Students
gain greater exposure to other cultures, and a greater appreciation
for individual differences.
Intermediate Level - Students
gain an increased understanding of diversity, and learn about discrimination
and institutionalized forms of oppression. They also start to build
the skills needed to create change in their school community.
Advanced Level - Students develop
leadership and communication skills, and begin to make the transition
from program participants to program leaders.
